Hadith #48544
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ يُومِئُ إِيمَاءً صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ إِلَّا الْفَرَائِضَ وَيُوتِرُ على رَاحِلَته
On the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray while traveling on his mount, wherever he headed, gesticulating for the night prayer except obligatory prayers and performs the Witr prayer on his mount
