Hadith #49252
قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ وَيَوْمَ الْأَحَدِ أَكْثَرَ مَا يَصُومُ مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ وَيَقُولُ: «إِنَّهُمَا يَوْمَا عِيدٍ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ فَأَنَا أُحِبُّ أَن أخالفهم» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to fast on Saturday and Sunday the most of the days he fasted, and he said: “They are It is a holiday for the polytheists, so I like to differ from them.” Narrated by Ahmed
