Hadith #49278

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كَانَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ نزل جِبْرِيل عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فِي كُبْكُبَةٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ قَائِمٍ أَوْ قَاعِدٍ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ عِيدِهِمْ يَعْنِي يَوْمَ فِطْرِهِمْ بَاهَى بِهِمْ مَلَائِكَتَهُ فَقَالَ: يَا مَلَائِكَتِي مَا جَزَاءُ أَجِيرٍ وَفَّى عَمَلَهُ؟ قَالُوا: رَبَّنَا جَزَاؤُهُ أَنْ يُوَفَّى أَجْرَهُ. قَالَ: مَلَائِكَتِي عَبِيدِي وَإِمَائِي قَضَوْا فَرِيضَتِي عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ خَرَجُوا يَعُجُّونَ إِلَى الدُّعَاءِ وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي وَكَرَمِي وَعُلُوِّي وَارْتِفَاعِ مَكَاني لأجيبنهم. فَيَقُول: ارْجعُوا فقد غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ وَبَدَّلْتُ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ حَسَنَاتٍ. قَالَ: فَيَرْجِعُونَ مَغْفُورًا لَهُمْ ". رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ

On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When it was Laylat al-Qadr, Gabriel, peace be upon him, descended in a group of angels. They pray for every servant, standing or sitting, who remembers God Almighty, and if it is the day of their feast, meaning the day they break their fast, he is proud of them. His angels, and he said: O my angels, what is the reward for a worker who has done his work? They said: Our Lord, his reward is to be fully rewarded. He said: My angels, my male and female servants, fulfilled what was obligatory upon them, then they went out crowding to supplicate, and by my might, my majesty, my generosity, my exaltation, and the elevation of my position, I will respond to them. And he says: Return, for I have forgiven you and changed your evil deeds into good ones. He said: Then they will return forgiven.” Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman
