وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْمُعْتَكَفِ: «هُوَ يَعْتَكِفُ الذُّنُوبَ وَيُجْرَى لَهُ مِنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ كَعَامِلِ الْحَسَنَات كلهَا» . رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Ibn Abbas: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said regarding the one who is in i’tikaf: “He refrains from sins and good deeds are rewarded for him like one who does good deeds.” All of them. Narrated by Ibn Majah
