Hadith #49518
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَالَ: وَعِزَّتِكَ يَا رَبِّ لَا أَبْرَحُ أُغْوِي عِبَادَكَ مَا دَامَتْ أَرْوَاحُهُمْ فِي أَجْسَادِهِمْ فَقَالَ الرَّبُّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي وَارْتِفَاعِ مَكَانِي لَا أَزَالُ أَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَغْفَرُونِي " رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ
On the authority of Abu Saeed, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Satan said: By Your glory, O Lord, I will not cease deceiving Your servants as long as I Their souls are in their bodies, so the Lord Almighty said: By my might, majesty, and high station, I will never cease to forgive them as long as they ask for my forgiveness.
