Hadith #49614
وَعَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" إِذَا وَلَجَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْتَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا ثُمَّ لْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ ". رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abu Malik Al-Ash’ari, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“When a man enters his house, let him say: O God, I ask you for the best of entry and the best of exit. In the name of God, let us enter, and in God, our Lord, we put our trust.” Then May peace be upon his family.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
