وَعَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَانَ الرجل إِذا أسلم علمه النَّبِي صلى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِهَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Abu Malik Al-Ashja’i, on the authority of his father, he said: When a man converted to Islam, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, taught him the prayer and then ordered him to pray with these words: “O God, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, protect me, and provide for me.” Narrated by Muslim
