Hadith #49694
On his authority, he said: A man asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: What is a pilgrim? He said: “Al-Sha’ath is the superfluous one.” Then another man stood up and said: O Messenger of God, which Hajj is best? He said: “The ice and the ice.” Then another man stood up and said: O Messenger of God, what is the way? He said: “Provisions and a camel.” He narrated it in Sharh al-Sunnah. Ibn Majah narrated it in his Sunan, but he did not mention the last chapter.
