Hadith #50307
عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا نَغْزُو مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَنَا نِسَاءٌ فَقُلْنَا: أَلَا نَخْتَصِي؟ فَنَهَانَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ لَنَا أَنْ نَسْتَمْتِعَ فَكَانَ أَحَدُنَا يَنْكِحُ الْمَرْأَةَ بِالثَّوْبِ إِلَى أَجَلٍ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: (يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ)
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: We were going on a campaign with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and we had women with us, so we said: Shall we not be circumcised? So he forbade us from that, then he permitted us to have fun, and one of us used to marry a woman with a garment for a specified period. Then Abdullah recited: (O O you who believe, no Prohibit the good things that God has made lawful for you.)
