عَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّهَا أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَعْتِقَ مَمْلُوكَيْنِ لَهَا زَوْجٌ فَسَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَبْدَأَ بِالرَّجُلِ قَبْلَ الْمَرْأَةِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ
On the authority of Aisha: She wanted to emancipate two slaves who had a husband, so she asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he ordered her to start with the man. Before the woman. Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Nasa’i
