Hadith #50365
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ: قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى طَعَام فليجب وَإِن شَاءَ طَعِمَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Jabir: He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If one of you is invited to a meal, he should accept it, and if he wants, he should eat it, and if he wants, he should leave it.” Narrated by Muslim
