Hadith #50366
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُدْعَى لَهَا الْأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُتْرَكُ الْفُقَرَاءُ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى الله وَرَسُوله»
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The worst food is the food of a feast to which the rich are invited and the poor and those left behind.” If he abandons the call, he has disobeyed God and His Messenger.”
