وَعَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا حَقُّ زَوْجَةِ أَحَدِنَا عَلَيْهِ؟ قَالَ: «أَنْ تُطْعِمَهَا إِذَا طَعِمْتَ وَتَكْسُوَهَا إِذَا اكْتَسَيْتَ وَلَا تَضْرِبِ الْوَجْهَ وَلَا تُقَبِّحْ وَلَا تَهْجُرْ إِلَّا فِي الْبَيْتِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Hakim bin Muawiyah al-Qushayri, on the authority of his father, he said: I said: O Messenger of God, what right does the wife of one of us have over him? He said: “That you feed her when you feed her, and clothe her when you clothe yourself, and do not strike her in the face, do not curse her, and do not forsake her except in the home.” Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah
