Hadith #50407
وَعَنْ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبِرَةَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي امْرَأَةً فِي لِسَانِهَا شَيْءٌ يَعْنِي الْبَذَاءَ قَالَ: «طَلِّقْهَا» . قُلْتُ: إِنَّ لِي مِنْهَا وَلَدًا وَلَهَا صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ: «فَمُرْهَا» يَقُولُ عِظْهَا «فَإِنْ يَكُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَسَتَقْبَلُ وَلَا تَضْرِبَنَّ ظَعِينَتَكَ ضَرْبَكَ أُمَيَّتَكَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Laqit bin Sabra, he said: I said: O Messenger of God, I have a woman who has something on her tongue that means obscenity. He said: “Divorce her.” I said: I have a son by her, and she has a companion. He said: “Then command her,” he says, admonishing her, “and if there is good in her, she will accept, and do not strike your wife as you strike.” Your illiteracy. Narrated by Abu David
