Hadith #50543
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَاتَبَ عَبْدَهُ عَلَى مِائَةِ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَأَدَّاهَا إِلَّا عَشْرَ أَوَاقٍ أَوْ قَالَ: عَشْرَةَ دَنَانِيرَ ثُمَّ عَجَزَ فَهُوَ رَقِيقٌ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever writes to his servant for a hundred uqiyahs and pays for it except ten uqiyahs, or says: Ten dinars, then fails, then he is a slave.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah
