Hadith #50570
وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا وَفَاءَ لِنَذْرٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ الْعَبْدُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيّة الله»
On the authority of Imran bin Husayn, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is no fulfillment of a vow for disobedience or for what the servant does not own.” Narrated by Muslim, and in a narration: “There is no vow to disobey God.”
