Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #50579

On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, may God be pleased with him, that a woman said: O Messenger of God, I have vowed to strike your head with the tambourine. He said: “Fulfill your vow.” Narrated by Abu Dawud, and Razin added: She said: I vowed to slaughter in such-and-such a place, a place where people slaughter. Pre-Islamic times, so he said: “Was there an idol of the pre-Islamic times being worshipped in that place?” She said: No. He said: “Was there one of their festivals there?” She said: No. He said: “Fulfill your vow.”
