وَعَنْ حَنَشٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: (إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْصَانِي أَنْ أُضَحِّيَ عَنْهُ فَأَنَا أُضَحِّي عَنْهُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ نَحْوَهُ
On the authority of Hanash, he said: I saw Ali, may God be pleased with him, sacrificing two rams, so I said to him: What is this? He said: (The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, advised me to offer the sacrifice on his behalf, so I will offer the sacrifice on his behalf. Narrated by Abu Dawud and narrated by Al-Tirmidhi Towards him
