وَعَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى خَثْعَمَ فَاعْتَصَمَ نَاسٌ مِنْهُمْ بِالسُّجُودِ فَأَسْرَعَ فِيهِمُ الْقَتْلَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُمْ بِنِصْفِ الْعَقْلِ وَقَالَ: «أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ مُقِيمٍ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ» قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ؟ قَالَ: «لَا تَتَرَاءَى نَارَاهُمَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Jarir bin Abdullah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sent a troop to Khath’am, and some of them remained in prostration, so he hastened among them. Murder, then this reached the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he ordered them to be punished and said: “I am innocent of every Muslim.” residing among the polytheists.” They said: O Messenger of God, why? He said: “Their fire cannot be seen.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
