Hadith #50773
On the authority of Daylam Al-Himyari, he said: I said to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: O Messenger of God, we are in a cold land and we are undergoing severe work there. We take a drink from this wheat to gain strength for our deeds and the cold of our country. He said: “Does it cause intoxication?” I said: Yes. He said: “Then avoid him,” I said: “The people will not abandon him.” He said: “If they do not abandon him, then fight them.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
