Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #48558

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “We are the others who will be the first on the Day of Resurrection, but they will They were given the Scripture before us, and we gave it after them. Then this is their day which was imposed upon them, meaning Friday, so they disagreed about it. So God guided us to it, and the people for us therein followed the Jews tomorrow and the Christians the day after. And in a narration by Muslim, he said: “We are the last who will be the first on the Day of Resurrection.” Resurrection, and we are the first to enter Paradise, but they are the first to enter Paradise. He mentioned something similar to the end, and in a narration by Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurairah and on the authority of Hudhayfah, they said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said at the end of the hadith: “We are the last of the people of the world and the first on the Day of Resurrection, which will be decided for them before the creation.”
