Hadith #50822
وَعَن المقدامِ بن معْدي كِربَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَرَبَ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَفْلَحْتَ يَا قُدَيْمُ إِنْ مُتَّ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَمِيرًا وَلَا كَاتبا وَلَا عريفا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Al-Miqdam bin Maadi Karb, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, struck his shoulders and then said: “You have succeeded, O ancient one, if you die and were not a prince nor A writer or a sergeant.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
