Hadith #48754
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يُصِيبُ عَبْدًا نَكْبَةٌ فَمَا فَوْقَهَا أَوْ دُونَهَا إِلَّا بِذَنَبٍ وَمَا يَعْفُو اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَكْثَرُ وَقَرَأَ: (وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَن كثير)
رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Abu Musa, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “No calamity befalls a servant, or more or less, unless he commits a sin and does not forgive.” May God bless him and recite: (And whatever calamity befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much.)
