وَعَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ مَوْلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ: بَعَثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ إِلَى الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ رَايَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: كَانَتْ سَوْدَاءَ مُرَبَّعَةً مِنْ نَمِرَةٍ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Musa bin Ubaidah, the client of Muhammad bin Al-Qasim, he said: Muhammad bin Al-Qasim sent me to Al-Bara’ bin Aazib to ask him about the banner of the Messenger of God. God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: It was black, square, of a number of colors. Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawood
