Hadith #48640
وَعَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ مُرْسَلًا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَبَّرُوا فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَالِاسْتِسْقَاءِ سَبْعًا وَخَمْسًا وَصَلَّوْا قبل الْخطْبَة وجهروا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ. رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِي
On the authority of Ja`far ibn Muhammad, mursal, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and Abu Bakr and Omar said the takbir for the two Eids and for raining for rain seven and five times. They prayed before the sermon and read aloud. Narrated by Al-Shafi’i
