Hadith #51036
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sent Abdullah bin Rawaha in a detachment, and that happened on Friday, so his companions went out in the morning. He said: Should I stay behind and pray with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, then he joined them. When he prayed with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, He, peace and blessings be upon him, saw him and said: “What prevented you from going out in the morning with your friends?” He said: I wanted to pray with you. Then he joined them and said: “If you had spent all of what is on earth, you would not have realized the benefit of their morning prayer.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
