وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سَيِّدُ الْقَوْمِ فِي السَّفَرِ خَادِمُهُمْ فَمَنْ سَبَقَهُمْ بِخِدْمَةٍ لَمْ يَسْبِقُوهُ بِعَمَلٍ إِلَّا الشَّهَادَةَ» . رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيّ فِي «شعب الْإِيمَان»
On the authority of Sahl bin Saad, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The master of the people in travel is their servant, so whoever precedes them “With service, no other work preceded him except martyrdom.” Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in “Shu’ab Al-Iman”
