وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَيْنٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَجَلَسَ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِهِ يَتَحَدَّثُ ثُمَّ انْفَتَلَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اطْلُبُوهُ وَاقْتُلُوهُ» . فَقَتَلْتُهُ فنفَّلَني سلبَه
On the authority of Salamah ibn al-Akwa’, he said: A group of the polytheists came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was on a journey. He sat with his companions and talked. Then He turned around and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Seek him and kill him.” So I killed him, and his plunder saved me
