Hadith #51105
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: ذَهَبَتْ فَرَسٌ لَهُ فَأَخَذَهَا الْعَدُوُّ فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: أَبَقَ عَبْدٌ لَهُ فَلَحِقَ بِالرُّومِ فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بَعْدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
On his authority, he said: A horse of his was lost, and the enemy took it, and the Muslims defeated them, and he was defeated in the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And in a narration: A servant of his stayed behind and joined the Romans, and the Muslims defeated them, and Khalid bin Al-Walid responded to him after the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. Narrated by Al-Bukhari
