وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: نَفَّلَنِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ سَيْفَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ وَكَانَ قَتَلَهُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, granted me permission on the day of Badr to strike Abu Jahl’s sword, and he was killed. Narrated by Abu Dawood
