Hadith #51164
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لأخرِجنَّ اليهودَ والنصَارى من جزيرةِ الْعَرَب حَتَّى لَا أَدَعَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مُسْلِمًا» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «لَئِنْ عِشْتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأُخْرِجَنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ»
On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, he said: Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, told me that he heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula until I will not leave therein anyone but a Muslim.” Narrated by Muslim, and in a narration: “If I live, God willing “I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula.”
