Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51193
Hadith #51193
On the authority of Abu Al-Ashra’, on the authority of his father, that he said: O Messenger of God, is the zakat only applicable to the throat and scalp? He said: “If you had stabbed her in the thigh, that would be sufficient for you.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Al-Nasa’i, Ibn Majah, and Al-Darimi, and Abu Dawud said: This is the death penalty for the one who apostates. Al-Tirmidhi said: This is necessary.
