Hadith #51244
وَعَن زيدِ بن خالدٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ سَبِّ الدِّيكِ وَقَالَ: «إِنَّهُ يُؤَذِّنُ للصَّلاةِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Zaid bin Khaled, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade cursing the rooster and said: “It gives the call to prayer.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
