Hadith #51289
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَ أَهْلَهُ الْأُدْمَ. فَقَالُوا: مَا عِنْدَنَا إِلَّا خَلٌّ فَدَعَا بِهِ فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ بِهِ وَيَقُولُ: «نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Jabir that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked his family. They said: We have nothing but vinegar. So he called for it and began to eat with it, saying: “How good is the vinegar, how good is the vinegar.” Narrated by Muslim
