Hadith #51398
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: جَاءَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنَ النَّقِيعِ بِإِنَاءٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَّا خَمَّرْتَهُ وَلَوْ أنْ تعرِضَ عليهِ عوداً»
On his authority, he said: Abu Humayd, a man from the Ansar, came from Naqi` with a pot of milk to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: He said: “Would you not leave him drunk, even if you offered him a stick?”
