Hadith #51440
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شهرةٍ منَ الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever wears a garment of fame in this world, God will clothe him with a garment of humiliation on the Day of Resurrection.” . Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah
