Hadith #51652
On the authority of Ali, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was praying one night, and he put his hand on the ground and a scorpion stung him, so the Messenger of God gave it to him. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he wore his sandals and killed them. When he left, he said: “May God curse the scorpion. It does not leave a praying person or anyone else.” Or a prophet or others.” Then he called for salt and water and put it in a vessel, then he poured it on his finger where it had stung and wiped it and sought refuge with the two exorcists.
