Hadith #51797
On the authority of Abu Dharr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said when the sun set: “Where are you going?” . I said: God and His Messenger know best. He said: “So she goes until she prostrates under the Throne, then she asks for permission, and permission is given to her, and it is about to prostrate, but it is not accepted from her, and she asks for permission.” She is not allowed to do so And it will be said to it: “Go back from whence you came,” and it will rise from the west. That is what God Almighty says: “And the sun runs to its resting place.” He said: “its resting place is under the Throne.” Agreed upon
