وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ يَنْفَعُ مِمَّا نَزَلَ وَمِمَّا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ فَعَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ بِالدُّعَاءِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ
وَرَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ. وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيّ هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب
On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Indeed, supplication benefits from what has been revealed and from what has not been revealed. So upon you are servants God by supplication.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
It was narrated by Ahmad on the authority of Muadh bin Jabal. Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a strange hadith
