Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51887

On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God will save a man from my nation over the heads of creation on the Day of Resurrection.” Then He spreads over him ninety-nine scrolls, each scroll as far as the eye can see, and then he says: Do you deny any of this? Have you been wronged by my writing? Preservers? He says: No, Lord. Then he says: Do you have an excuse? He said, “No, Lord,” and he says, “Yes.” Indeed, you have done us a good deed, and there has been no wrong done to you today. So a card is taken out, on which is: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant. And His Messenger said, “Bring your weight.” Then he says: O Lord, what is this card with? These records? So he says: You are not being wronged. He said: Then the records are placed on one hand and the card is on one hand, so the records are scattered and the card is heavy, so it is not heavy with the name God is something.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah
