وَعَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَرَدَّ الرَّجُلُ كَلَامًا فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ: إِذَا سُلِّمَ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَلَا يَتَكَلَّمْ وَلْيُشِرْ بِيَدِهِ. رَوَاهُ مَالك
On the authority of Nafi’, he said: Abdullah bin Omar passed by a man while he was praying, and he greeted him. The man responded, and Abdullah bin Omar returned to him and said: Him: If one of you greets one of you while he is praying, let him not speak and let him gesture with his hand. Narrated by Malik
