Hadith #52049
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ إِسْرَافِيلَ مُنْذُ يَوْمَ خَلْقَهُ صَافًّا قَدَمَيْهِ لَا يَرْفَعُ بَصَرَهُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الرَّبِّ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى سَبْعُونَ نورا مَا مِنْهَا من نورٍ يدنو مِنْهُ إِلاّ احْتَرَقَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَصَححهُ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Indeed, God created Israfil from the day He created him, with his feet straight and not raising his gaze.” Between him and the Lord, Blessed and Most High, are seventy lights, not a light of which comes close to him without being burned up.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated
