Hadith #52416
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: { أَنَّ اَلْعَبَّاسَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اَلْمُطَّلِبِ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- اِسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى, مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ, فَأَذِنَ لَهُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري ( 1634 )‏، ومسلم ( 1315 )‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them both: “Al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, may God be pleased with him, asked the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, for permission to stay in Mecca during the nights of Mina, for the sake of providing water to the pilgrims, and he granted him permission.” Agreed upon. 1.1 - Authentic. Narrated by al-Bukhari (1634) and Muslim (1315).
