Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith #52747

Hadith #52747
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ: عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ, نَحْوُهُ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح بما قبله وبما له من شواهد.‏ رواه أبو داود (1156)‏ ولفظه: عن ابن عمر؛ أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أخذ يوم العيد في طريق، ثم رجع في طريق آخر.‏
There is an Idraj in its last part. So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion). And it's meaning is to put (one's) hands on his waist. This Hadith is more authentic than the Hadith narrated by Wa'il bin Hujr (RA).
