Hadith About Honest

On ​the ‌authority ‌of ‌Buraydah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever swears to be honest is not one of us.” ((An authentic hadith narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission))

Musaddad ‌told ‌us, ‌he ‌said: Abdullah bin Dawud told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, on the authority of Abdullah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: It is upon you. With honesty, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise, and a man tells the truth until he is recorded in the sight of God. truthful, and beware of lying, for lying leads to immorality, and immorality leads to the Fire, and indeed a man will lie until he is recorded when God is a liar...

Adam ​told ‌us, ​he ‌said: Shu`bah told us, he said: Yazid bin Khumayr told us, he said: I heard Sulaym bin Amir, on the authority of Awsat bin Ismail. He said: I heard Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, after the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, rose in the first year of This is my position, then Abu Bakr cried, then he said: You must be honest, for it is with righteousness, and they will both be in Paradise, and beware of lying, for it with immorality, while they will be in the Fire, and ask God for protection, for nothing is brought after certainty better than protection, and do not interrupt each other, nor Friendly one another, do not envy one another, do not hate one another, and be servants of God as brothers.

On ‌the ​authority ​of ‌Abdullah Al-Khattimi, he said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to entrust the army, he would say: “I entrust your religion to God.” And your honesty and the end of your deeds.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

On ‌the ​authority ‌of ​Abdullah bin Amr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say: “O God, I ask you for health, chastity, honesty, good character, and contentment with destiny.”

On ​the ​authority ​of ‌Al-Hasan bin Ali, may God be pleased with them both, he said: I learned from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: “Leave what doubts you for what does not doubt you, for Honesty is reassurance, and lying is suspicion.” It was narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Nasa’i, and Al-Darimi narrated the first chapter.

On ‌the ​authority ‌of ‌Abu Saeed, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The honest and trustworthy merchant is with the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Daraqutni. It was narrated by Ibn Majah on the authority of Ibn Omar. Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a strange hadith.

On ​the ‌authority ‌of ‌Hakim bin Hazzam, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “A sale for option is as long as they do not separate. If they are honest and explain it, they will be blessed.” In their sale, even if they conceal and lie, the blessing of their sale will be voided.”

On ‌the ‌authority ​of ‌Buraydah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever swears to be honest is not one of us.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

On ​the ‌authority ​of ‌Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If God wants good for the prince, He will appoint for him an honest minister, and if he forgets, he will remind him.” And if he remembers, he helps him. And if he intended anything other than that, he appointed for him an evil minister. If he forgot, he did not remind him, and if he did remember, he did not help him.” Narrated by Abu Dawood and Al-Nasa'i

On ‌the ‌authority ‌of ‌Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr and Omar - meaning Ibn Sayyad - met him on some of the roads of Medina. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him: “Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of God?” Then he said: Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of God? Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I believe in God and His angels and His books and His messengers. What do you see?” He said: I see a throne on the water. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “You see the throne of Satan on the sea, and what do you see?” He said: I see two truthful people and a liar or two liars. And honest. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “He was confused, so they left him.” Narrated by Muslim

“Do ​not ​be ​dishonest ​(and treacherous) about the war booty (i.e. steal from it before it is divided legally), as Ghulul will be like fire (for the ones who got involved in it) and a cause of disgrace to those who are guilty of it in this world and in the Hereafter.” Related by Ahmad, and An-Nasa‘i, and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

Ma'qil ‌bin ​Yasar ‌(RAA) ‌narrated, ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “Any governor in charge of Muslim subjects who dies while acting dishonestly towards them will be excluded by Allah from Paradise.” Agreed upon.

‘Ubaid ‌b. ​Rifa'a ​on ‌his father’s authority reported the Prophet as saying, "The merchants will be raised up on the day of resurrection as evildoers, except those who fear God, are honest and speak the truth.” Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it, and Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-iman on the authority of al-Bara’. Tirmidhi said this is a hasan sahih tradition.

‘Ubada ​b. ‌as-Samit ‌told ​that the Prophet used to say, “Hand over threads and needles and avoid dishonesty about booty, for it will be a reproach to those who are guilty of it on the day of resurrection.” Darimi transmitted it, and Nasa’i transmitted on the authority of ‘Amr b. Shu'aib who gave it on his father’s authority as coming from his grandfather.

Ali ‌told ‌us, ​Ismail ‌told us, on the authority of Amer, he said: A woman came to Ali, disputing with her husband who had divorced her, and she said: I have menstruated during A month is the third of menstruation. Amr ​bin ‌Aoun ‌told ​us, Hushaym told us, on the authority of Mansour bin Zazan, on the authority of Ibn Sirin, on the authority of Abu Al-Ajfa Al-Sulami, he said: I heard Omar bin Al-Khattab deliver a speech, and he thanked God and praised Him, then he said: “Do not exaggerate in the honesty of women, for if they were honored in This world, or piety in the sight of God. Those of you who are most worthy of it. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He did not trust any of his wives, nor did she trust any of his wives. A woman from his daughters for more than twelve uqiyas. Indeed, one of you goes to extremes in his wife’s friendship so that he keeps her in himself.
