Sahih Muslim — Hadith #14264

It has been told to us that [Suwaid bin Sa'id] and [Muhammad bin 'Abdul A'laa]'s lafazh is not much different. Both said; Having told us [Al Mu'tamir] from [his father] from [Abu As Salil] from [Abu Hasan] he said; 'I said to [Abu Hurairah]; My two sons have died. Have you heard from the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Salam a hadith that you can recite for us, with which we can calm our hearts from the sadness of the death of our children?" Abu Hurairah said; Yes; "Their little children ran around in heaven freely, one of them met his father or both parents, then he grabbed the hem of his clothes, or he said; 'With his hand as I hold the hem of your garment, he will not be separated from his father until Allah admits him and his father into Paradise.' [Abu As Salil] has related it to us; And [Ubaidullah bin Sa'id] has related it to me; [Yahya] has related it to us from [At Taimi] through this route and he said; 'Have you ever heard a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that can soothe our hearts upon the passing of our children?' Abu Hurairah replied: 'Yes.
