Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #44512

Hashim bin Al-Qasim narrated to us, he said, Al-Layth narrated to us, he said, Yazid bin Abi Habib narrated to me, on the authority of Abu Al-Khair, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, that he said to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “Teach me a supplication that I may pray with in my prayer.” He said, “O God, I I have wronged myself greatly, and no one can forgive sins except You, so grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful. And Yunus said It was narrated to us by Hasan al-Asheeb on the authority of Ibn Lahi’ah. He said: “It is great.”
