Hadith #44976
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمْرَانَ بْنَ أَبَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَتَمَّ الْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللَّهُ فَالصَّلَوَاتُ الْمَكْتُوبَاتُ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Jami` ibn Shaddad, he said: I heard Humran ibn Aban speaking to Abu Burdah in the mosque. He heard Othman bin Affan, speaking on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: Whoever completes ablution as God commanded him The written prayers are expiation for what was committed between them.
