Muhammad bin Fudayl told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Abd Al-Malik bin Maysarah, on the authority of Al-Nazzal bin Sabrah, he said: Ali was brought, may God be pleased with him. With a jug of water while he was in the spacious area. Then he took a handful of water, rinsed his mouth, sniffed it, wiped his face, arms, and head, then drank while standing. Then he said: This is the ablution of one who does not perform it. This is how I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, do it.
