Hadith #45826
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْمَدَايِنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي بِلَالُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْهِلَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ.
Abu Amer narrated to us, Sulayman bin Sufyan Al-Madaini narrated to us, Bilal bin Yahya bin Talha bin Ubaidullah narrated to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of His grandfather, that whenever the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw the crescent, he would say, “O God, crescent it on us with right and faith.” And peace and Islam are my Lord and your Lord is God.
